The Re‑turn Bin Surrounds make recycling on‑the‑go simpler, more convenient, and more impactful for communities. By providing clear, attractive, and durable surrounds for recycling and deposit return bins in Galway City Centre, the initiative reduces litter, supports the circular economy, and helps keep the community clean.

What PEL delivered

• Custom surrounds designed and manufactured by PEL to fit Re‑turn bins and to withstand heavy public use.
• Clear recycling messaging and labelling to help the public identify the correct bin quickly.
• Durable materials and finish to perform in urban outdoor settings.

Where you’ll see them

The surrounds are installed across Galway City Centre and are already being used daily by residents, visitors, and businesses — making it easier for everyone to take part in the deposit return scheme and divert materials back into the recycling stream.
