Porterhouse Central
The Porterhouse Central was generating 6 x 240 litre bins of waste glass bottles, 3 x 240 litre bins of general waste and 1 x 240 litre bin of cardboard & plastic recycling wastes per day at the Nassau Street site.
PEL HAVE THE SOLUTION
The Installation of two PEL bottle crushers reduced the number of waste glass bottle bins in Porterhouse Central from 36 to 12 per week. The PEL 240 litre bin compactor reduced the 18 weekly bins to 6 bin collections per week and the addition of a PEL700 baler eliminated all recycling bins previously situated onsite. The introduction of these machines dramatically reduced the space required for waste storage in Porterhouse Central.

Our Conclusion
The bottle crushers, bin compactor & cardboard baler generated significant waste volume reductions along with savings on waste collection & labour costs. Space needed for storage of empty glass bottles, general & recycling wastes was reduced, congestion due to collection traffic was relieved along with an overall improvement in customer service levels.
The PEL bottle crushers, bin compactor & baler are saving us a considerable amount of money on our waste disposal costs whilst at the same time creating space and generally tidying up the place around here – machines are easy to use, safe and I would highly recommend if looking for a straight forward cost saving measure
