Waste Glass Bottle Crushers

A PEL Waste Reduction Equipment glass bottle crusher will help save on the cost of managing and disposing of their waste glass.

Generally, empty glass bottles are thrown into a bottle bin and when this bin is full, it is wheeled it through the bar and into a bottle storage area.  Here the empty bottles are stored, sorted if necessary and eventually collected by a waste management company who charge for that service. The current process is inefficient – moving waste glass bottles means a relatively small quantity of glass and a large quantity of air (up to 80% of an empty glass bottle occupied by air) is transported from the serving area to the waste glass storage location and more often than not, happens at the expense of customer service.

A glass bottle crusher can solve these problems.  Crushing glass bottles reduces their volume by up to 80% and eliminates the majority of manual handling. Additional benefits include eliminating bottle clinking noise pollution, less space required for storing waste glass and staff focused on customer service rather than managing waste glass bottles.

PEL Waste Reduction Equipment offer single and multi-feed glass bottle crushers which generate significant cost, labour and space savings – click below and select the most appropriate bottle crusher for your needs or contact us for advice on the product range.
